ABOUT SURGE TO NEW LEVELS
chasing the vision: the story of surge
Surge was born from a vision of creating a welcoming and positive space for anyone seeking self-improvement and growth, no matter who they are.
In 2015, at just 23 years old, Sergio Luna took a leap of faith by leaving a stable 9-to-5 job to pursue this dream. He recognized that a space like this didn’t exist at the time, and with the support of Jackie, Surge quickly became more than just a gym—it became a community. Starting in 2016 with a humble 2,500-square-foot facility, Surge’s training style and philosophy resonated deeply with clients. By 2018, we expanded to 5,000 square feet, and by 2020, we had grown into our current 12,000-square-foot space. Throughout this journey, our commitment to community has been the heart of everything we do. Our core values—humility, respect, and service—guide us every day. We believe that authenticity and giving back are essential to fostering a true sense of belonging. |

Whether it’s helping someone new get in shape, coaching powerlifting, hosting competitions, or guiding a boxing class, we’re proud of the environment we’ve created.
Surge is more than a gym; it’s a third space where people come together, socialize, and support each other in a positive, uplifting atmosphere—something that feels harder to find nowadays. |
If you’re looking for a place where the owners and coaches genuinely care and know every person who walks through the doors, you’ve found your new home.
Welcome to Surge.

a personal note from sergio
Surge has always been more than just a business to me—it’s my life’s passion and purpose.
Every step of this journey has been fueled by the belief that fitness can change lives and that everyone deserves a place to grow and feel supported. To those who know me well, I am no stranger to sharing my struggles with depression, addiction, and ADHD. I may not be perfect. But I strive every day to lead by example, hoping to inspire others to embrace their own journeys. My community holds me accountable, and for that, I am deeply grateful. In turn, their strength and trust continue to inspire me to keep building something meaningful. – Sergio Luna |
