MISSION STATEMENT
"It is our goal to give those who are financially struggling, experiencing personal hardship, or recovering from substance abuse the ability participate in the sport of powerlifting, strongman, or boxing in order to improve their overall quality of life"

Sponsorship: Winner of the sponsorship program will receive the following: one paid competition, paid membership to any organization, stipend for travel, lifting or boxing gear as needed (singlet, belt, sleeves, wraps, gloves, headgear, etc.), and a credit towards gym membership.
PLEASE READ before applying
Eligibility: In order to be eligible you must be able to demonstrate any of the following: documentation showing financial hardship, proof of steps towards rehabilitation in the case of substance abuse, or a severe life altering event causing personal hardship. Men and women of all ages and backgrounds may all apply.
Conditions: Winner will be expected to report monthly with updates on training and progress in the gym. They are expected to represent SURGE and in doing so must show they are also making adjustments to improve their quality of life outside the gym as well. Winner must also be okay with their story being shared to help inspire others and set themselves as a role model as best they can.
how to apply for sponsorship
In order to enter you must submit a short essay with 500 or less words showing us why you deserve to be sponsored by SURGE. You may include as much about yourself as possible and how this would make a significant difference in your life. Please only submit if you fit the eligibility requirements. This is not meant for people who are doing well already and are looking to be sponsored for the sake of being sponsored.
